wrong impressions

i always thought of the first impression that people have on me- good or bad, it doesn't matter. Most ppl say, first impression counts.. i'm not saying it's wrong..but sometimes misunderstandings do happen, ppl may see u as someone u are NOT- as a consequence, u gave them the wrong perception on u.. sometimes u blame it on the wrong gestures, the wrong timing at the wrong places ..u c a person for the first time n u start judging from the way he/she looks, the way she / he behaves and the way he/she talks-we call it the first impression. so how sure are we that the first impression we have on someone actually reflects the real him/her? ..i believe that we'll never know how a person is unless we actually get along with them well enough.. the way most ppl treat a stranger or someone they're not so close with , is very different from the way they treat their friends and close ones..

i used to dislike a few ppl solely based on my first impressions on them.. but as i finally get to know these ppl better, i started realising that they aren't that bad afterall , in fact they're very nice people .. funny, how a few of them have become my close friends now..honestly, i regretted having such bad thoughts about them..u'll only discover a person's strengths and inner beauty when u open up urself to them:) ...exactly what ppl mean when they say "if u keep your door closed, u'll never find out what's behind that door"

most ppl tend to have the wrong impressions on me...
when asked, they answered ::
i looked very 'lansi', "play hard to get" , 'unfriendly' , 'unapproachable' , 'very "siu che" ' yada yada..

"! ! !"
" really meh....??!!! " lols.. could it be face problem ? ((sad case))

-i didnt take it as an offend , by right it should be a compliment that i'm actually not who they used to think i was , n i'm glad to know that they realised it themselves=) i'm not too bad afterall mah , hehe *perasan*-

i hate the "siu che" word, i'm seriously not one as compared to other girls:p gRrrr.. those who know me well enough should know..

Another told me, " i never imagine myself talking to u on the phone now..seriously"
cuz i jus found out .. he hated me in the past!.. hahaha :P thank god, it's the past ,and that i'm a total different person from what he thought.. at least he no longer has that kind of bad impression on me anymore.. how ironic things can get, we're now good frens :)

Try asking several friends of yours about their first impressions on u.. and u'll be surprised. Some of them might have hated u in the past, and u'll be wondering y on earth r u guys such close friends now..

* LY, if u're reading this, i'm sure u feel the same way, haha! remember back in primary school we were in the same tuition centre with Amy.. how we hated each other then and we're so close now..!=)) what a wacky world...
